In novembre 2015, Jahidi Gallery asked me to design a poster for the solo exhibition of Marinka Vandra.
This was a good opportunity for me to further explore the graphic vocabulary created for the previous exhibition (Ex-Libris).
Same colors, same structure and printing method (risograph) but this time for one unique artist: Marinka Vandra and her specific inspirational work, based on japanese woocud prints and dreamlike landscapes.
The poster is based on her initials, M and V, overlayed in order to evoke mountains.
Some parts look like transparent surfaces, with a texture that reminds aquatint.
A series of invitations were also printed in a smaller scale, allowing size variations of the poster.
